Wonderful Spanish architecture- stone or wood floors with rugs, large airy rooms, high ceilings, wide staircases. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast (and dinner if eating in) was at the top of the hotel (and was a lovely room). Good food. I was with friends supporting a competitor in an Ironman competition, so on race day we were up (very) early and back late ….. they laid on early breakfast for competitors and followers- and we ended up having dinner pretty late…. but staff and kitchen were fantastic. I can recommend the Jamón Iberico and the shoulder of lamb! The Parador is easy to find in Argomaniz, and the views over the countryside are super. The area is known for being a bit of a cyclist’s paradise apparently! There is a beautiful garden and terrace to relax in. If you prefer inside, then there are a couple of lounge areas - all very comfortable.

We always try to include a night in a Parador when we do a road trip in Spain. This was our third Parador. It is a nice break from the bustle of the cities/towns we visited on our trip. Calm and peaceful stay. Room was very good. Clean and spacious. Room had a garden area which was a bonus we weren’t expecting. Lunchtime snacks in the courtyard area were very nice. We booked dinner bed & breakfast, fantastic value for money. The evening 3 course meal was so good. Little extra bonus dish from the chef was a nice touch. Food was delicious. Couldn’t fault any course and waitress was so helpful with menu. The dining room is very impressive with dark wooden ceiling and plenty of space between tables. Same room for breakfast. Loads of choice and we weren’t rushed at all.

What a great find!! The hotel is situated in a quiet village with lovely views, about 15 minutes drive from Vitoria-Gasteiz. We found the environment very relaxing and calm. The hotel is beautifully presented and the service offered by the team was first class. The cafe/bar, restaurant and gardens all offered a great experience. Breakfast was excellent, high quality and beautifully presented - Well worth paying for in my opinion. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable with a lovely view of the garden and surrounding area. We would not hesitate to go back next time we are in the area.

Lovely property and location. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Front desk Staff member, Virginia, very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable beds with nice linens. Restaurant has a good variety of choices. Bar also had nice selection of wines and cocktails. Friendly wait staff too. Surrounding area very scenic. Close to medieval town.

We arrived later in the afternoon so did not manage to walk around the area, but the views from the hotel were amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the evening meal and there was a lot of choice for breakfast. We have stayed in a Parador hotel before and love the old buildings they are in.
